Simple and delicious! Just as easy as plain rice but a terrific flavor punch from the garlic.

Garlic 3 cloves
Coriander seeds 1 tsp
Channa dal 1 tsp
Red chili 1 and 1/2
Coconut 2 tblsp
Ghee 1/2 tsp
Oil 4 tsp
Salt as needed
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves few
Wash the rice and soak this in water for 10 minutes.
Pressure cook this for 6-7 whistles and keep in a lowest possible flame for 5 minutes. Switch off the flame.
Cook the soaked chana also in the cooker in a separate vessel.
Chop the garlic finely.
In a pan add ghee and add the chopped garlic, coriander seeds, channa dal and red chili.
